Moreira resigns as ABTA president, Leila Loria takes over

José Augusto Pinto Moreira announced Thursday, November 21, that he is resigning as president of ABTA, the national pay-TV industry association. He took office in October 2001, representing TVA. His place will be taken by Leila Loria, managing director of TVA. Mr Moreira was TVA?s managing director until about a month ago. He currently sits on the boards of UOL and TVA, besides running his own business.
