Luiz Antônio Viana, CEO of Net Serviços, has resigned according to a news release issued by the MSO on Wednesday, January 22. The decision was taken ?by mutual agreement? between Mr Viana and the board, the statement said, citing ?supervenient interests of both parties? in favor of appointing a new chief executive. The release also said ?the key goals of the management team that took office in October 1, 2001, have been duly accomplished?. Mr Viana will stay on until January 27, when the board meets to choose his successor.
