?If the Social Communication Council so wishes, Anatel is ready to publish its proposal for new rules on Mass Electronic Communication Services, or SCEMa for short,? said Ara Minassian, Anatel?s head of mass communication, while attending a meeting of the Council?s working group that is drafting a proposal for changes in the pay-television industry.
The proposal groups pay-TV technologies into a single service and was finished some time ago, he explained, adding that Anatel hasn?t published it yet because implementation would require changes in the Cable Act and regulations.
