Luis Perez, senior vice president, sales, for Disney Channel and Fox Kids, says negotiations are still in progress with Neo TV. He's optimistic about the chances of an agreement on Fox Kids. "We're working hard and I'm sure that we will reach a satisfactory conclusion," he says. He doesn't believe pay-TV distributors will remove the channel from lineups because it's one of the market leaders and offers many novelties (as reported by us in yesterday's edition). Disney is interested in ensuring that the channel is available to the largest possible number of subscribers, he stresses, adding that negociations on Fox Kids and Disney Channel (a premium channel sold à la carte) are undertaken separately.
