DirecTV has a new managing director in Brazil, three months after the departure of Philippe Boutaud. The new boss is Luiz Eduardo Baptista Pinto da Rocha, known as Bap. Hitherto he?s been the general manager of Galaxy Brasil Ltda., the legal entity under which DirecTV operates in Brazil. Before that he was an executive with Optiglobe Telecomunicações and chief operating officer of TVA.
